stiffi barrels

On the item description which comes with the stiffi barrels it says do not clean with a fluffy stick or it will wreck the selve cleaning film inside the barrel. Does anyone know if that is actually that true and if so do they clean their stiffi barrel with a fluffy stick? To me it seems a bit farfetched lol

hi mate, as far as im aware your not supposed to use fluffys in cf barrels as it gets fluff in the barrell and like the instructions say, can wreck the sleeve. Its best to use a straight shot or a rubber pull through squeegie

as fordy says, don't fluffly a CF barrel.
the ability to self clean is amazing however - a few shots and they can be good to go.

Have to be honest i have used a fluffy in a deadly winds CF barrel and never had any trouble at all, but as said before if the manufacturer says dont do it, then dont

i have a deadly wind and i use a fluffy in it but for god sake dont use it in stiffi
cause the inside of the deadly wind has a coating of some sort inside so u can use a fluffy but for the stiffi barrel the fluffy threads can get cort inside the barrel then as the balls brush past it, it basically sands dwn the inside of the stiffi

Come on Mikey thats not how a stiffi gets destroyed......
The fibers become trapped in the Carbon fiber weave and it will destroy the inside by pulling pieces loose.
