Hello, I have recently acquired a sterling bronze and am attempting to remove the barrel although with little effect.

Does anyone know whether the barrel is in fact fixed? Or is there a certain way to remove it?

Presently I am trying to remove it by turning the barrel clockwise (if you were looking down the barrel from the rear of the gun) but it won't budge!

Thankyou :) x

The barrel is removable, and your turning it the right way although you explanation is a bit confusing. All markers the breaches are right hand threaded and the barrel is unscrewed anti clockwise (looking from the front of the marker or down the barrel)

Sound like it's been cross threaded, which is a bad thing

Barrel change

Hi
I've had two stirlings bronze and STP, both had removable barrels. Yep they turn clockwise to undo if you are look at them from the rear. Try a strap wrench so not to damage your barrel. Or a cheaper way is to wrap loads and loads of insulating tape around the barrel until you get a ball that you can get more purchase on.
