I use macroline for the majority of the time because it is more adaptable than stainless...if you don't have the right length with stainless, you have to find (often buy) another piece and another till you get it right. With macro it's just measure, snip, bend, and it fits. However, macro can wiggle and wear to the point it leaks, then has to be replaced, unlike steel which stays in one place and doesn't do that. Steel is tougher and sometimes more attractive, but macroline is a bit higher flow. Those are the good points and bad fo each.

As famine say's, Rekka sell braided hoses. I think they also sell proconnect kits too, but they're pretty pricey compared to macroline.

I'm just curious, but why are you after steel braided hose as opposed to macroline?????

How come macroline is higher flow than hose? I would have thought that the ID of each was about the same?

Give Janice a call at Powerball, they stock pretty much everything in that sort of department.

Personally I'm more of a microline fan, wasn't at first but once you get it set up it's pretty sweet:)

The reason I am looking at it is because I had the idea it was stonger and sturdier than macroline. I play sup'air and woodland so It was a precautional thing. Also I had heard that sometimes macroline comes off/leaks at joints.

Ah, I see. Macroline does leak if the end isn't a clean cut, or if it's pretty old, but I doubt you'd have all that much trouble with it. Plus, it's cheap enough to just cut another bit, and replace your existing hose.

If you are looking to get the stainless braided hose at the correct length that fits your gun, look in the yellow pages for a hydralic hose company called pirtek, you should have one near you. They will make a hose for you there & then while you wait at the length to the exact mm.the ends required are 1/8 bsp thread.Hope this helps.:D :D :D :D :D :D
