Statement to all players Re: Staargate

STATEMENT TO ALL UK PAINTBALL PLAYERS

It is with great regret that BZ Paintball Supplies Ltd. will not be attending Staargate this year.

A number of attempts both verbally and by e-mail have been made to the event organisers to obtain an invitation to attend Staargate, sadly this invitation has not been received. Therefore we will now be directing our efforts towards other UK Paintball events where hopefully our attendance will be welcomed.
Staargate is one of the UK calendars most cherished events and we will be disappointed not to be there, especially as we have very fond memories from being there as a trader for the previous 9 years. For those players who were looking forward to our service and attention at Staargate, hopefully we will see you at other events through the rest of this season and beyond.

I would take it as a compliment that they don't want you there. You're obviously taking all of their trade away from them because you're so good

I think it's a shame and disgrace, especially given the organiser is reported to "always put the players first".
