I started paintball a good few years ago, played for a few local teams then got up off my ass one day and decided to start my own team up...

Me, 3 best mates an me old man...no extra people for back up, never trained because we didn't know how, basic gear (well until daddy stuck his hand in his pocket) and we won the KoTH novice league.. Split up as we turned 18, discovered alcohol and driving...

So 6 years down the line I want to start another team up, have friends from work and the area who are all interested, can afford it and are serious but where do you go from here now?? Everything seems different now from back in the day...

Different tournament styles/divisions...don't know about the guns as much anymore, thinking of a logo, team name, what gear to wear/use...how do we practice properly, I'm sure I could teach them a thing or two but I'm no ollie lang...

Any help???

Where abouts are you located? (Knowing this will determine the closest places to you for tournaments and also training)

I'll let the lads know and see what they say, see if they can get it off work...now it's just gear and sorting some kind of training schedule out

Hi there,

we will be entering a beginners team int he Masters this weekend - so will have some of our players there that play for the more experienced teams to talk with. We have open training days for new people that want to join in or need some pointers, so give one of the Samurai guys a poke (John or Ben should be there and the ones to talk to).

If all else fails, drop me a PM (or head over to our Facebook page and leave a message there) and we are happy to help out with players of training to get you all started.

Until then - enjoy the sun. :)
