Hi everyone! I've been paintballing a few times recently and really enjoyed it, so wanted to start buying my own gear. Been mainly playing woods ball, but would like to join a team, and play competitively, further down the line, if possible!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Henry

Run through the existing theads

Goggles that are comfortable for you
A gun that floats your boat - but feels right for you
Remember you also need everything else - pod belt or vest, pods, hopper, cylinder, squeegee/fluffy, lube, tools, maintenance etc

I currently have not set a limit on how much I am willing to spend.
However saving money on decent second-hand equipment wouldn't hurt!

The only bit of kit i would strongly recommend to buy new would be a decent set of goggles last thing you want to put to your face is a skanky set of goggles,if possible try a few different brands before committing to buy.

Thanks for getting back to me @outkastmike
After reading the Forum a bit more, I've seen quite a few recommendations to buy a new mask. I'm hoping to go to a walk-on day that my friend is going to, so should get a feel for a few different types there.

What about getting a new tank, as they have a life-span? Or is used okay?

Thanks again @outkastmike , however i have another question about the tank.
After looking around I can't decide which is better a 0.8l or 1.1l.
I know 0.8l tank will be lighter, but the 1.1l tank will hold more air. Any suggestions there?

Most people go for the 1.1ltr bottles due to the better capacity but it really depends on you and what feels right when holding it screwed onto a marker....or you could if money isn't an issue go and buy the Fuel Supralite which is more or less the same size as a standard 1.1ltr bottle but is as light as the 0.8ltr bottle but they cost around £190.00.

Have one myself and they are a excellent air system.
