Starting a Paintball Society at Manchester

Ok then, after some serious thinking, im planning, along with others to get a society going at manchester, aiming to get new players into the game, helping them progress to the tournament side of things and eventually get manchester uni a team that is recognised by the uni as a sports club, giving us a budget, allowing pennyless students to play paintball while they are reading here.

Is there anyone out there who has experience with this kind of thing that could give us some pointers on how to get started.

We could probally work this one out ourselves, but to save us the mistakes, help would be great.

Please give me a pm if you can lend a hand, or are interested in getting involved and getting this society set up.

i started the uni of east anglia club, best bet is to look at the other uni threads and get all the info from them. Especially the link towards the ukpsf university league area which has a 'how to get a club started' section.

Easiest way to get a club started is to orginise 2 outings a month to a rec ball site, then get discount from the site as students have no money they need it cheap. After a year or a few months you will have a few people who are preapred to spend a couple of hundered on gear and buy some ions.
