Start up kit ??

hey i want to start paintball and all that stuff but you dont want to read a 500 word introduction so ive seen this package http://www.bzpaintball.co.uk/product.php?p=Proto%20Rail%20Package&t=Pre%20Built%20Packages

Note that i already have a mask so i wont need to get a better one and i plan to get a prophecy as my local field sells them new for £65

i was just wondering what else you suggest i should or shouldn't do from past experience in regards to buying first time and are ASA's and such worth it.

For £100 you can get an electric hopper, mask, bottle and podpack second hand on here. Leaving you £200 for a marker im not sure if id get that package without doing a lot of investigating. I baught package at the start, regretted it but bescause i found you can get some good stuff secondhand for half the price. Thats just what ive found though... X

Teddy is right. I am also just starting up but had a higher budget to spend. I have spent about £450 in total and have an ego7 fully modded, 1.1ltr carbon tank, dye rotor, dye i4 mask worn once, e vents mask never worn, pods and pod carrier, tank cover and barrel plug. All the kit is in good condition. Well pleased. Plus you get to meet other players and ask them their opinions on equipment. I have made a few friends from the purchases I have made.

ok thanks ill get my bargain hunt on then xD i was originally being cautious because i didnt want all of the best gear so to speak and then look like a nob when i inevitably get bunkered in multiply games

starting up

I have an 06 ego which is awsome and owned it for 4 years with not a problem. There is someone on here selling one for £150 which will be 10 times better than any entry level marker.... Just my opinion
