Star Wars - Big Up to the Marshalls

Well After yesterdays Star Wars Big Game I felt inclined to put finger to keyboard and start a thread..

Basically I've been to a load of big games now and this was as good if not better than the rest (barring the rain of course).

So I just wanted to say thanks to UKPSF, and the paintball park and the scenario boys... but mostly I want to say how EXCELLENT the marshalling was...

I've been shot to crap at so many big games due to poor marshalling and bad calls etc but the marshalling yesterday was superb... when shot out they'd be in there covering you til you were safe from slaughter.

Well done guys ... hats off... you made my day far more enjoyable!!!

Highlight for me (apart from the VERY lucky weather) was the geordie Woompa.

never seen so many people run from a big white woolly teddy bear before

been tellin the kids about it today ..... think we will have a bigger party there next year .... Damn need a bigger tent !!!!!

Aye, the marshalling was top notch, and made easier by the fact there was so little decieving out there, apart from one big commotion by the bridge there was nothing else, and was a cool day overall.

The weather and subsequent condition of the campsite was a downer, but i must say the organisation of that was a little poor, as we had 2 parties of people turn up after us there was no one to tell them where to go, no one to lift the barrier and no one had a clue.

I Reckon if the organisation was a little better in that department and if we were able to camp next to our cars easily it would have been a perfect weekend.

See you next year anyway!!!!!!

I was one of the marshall yesterday {alone with 3 other from my team}, I mashalled the the tank base and bridge all day.
i would like to thank you all for a great day what a great bunch of people to spend a day with.
I went onto the bridge a few time to sort thing out, got the crap shot out of me, but that paintball

weather on saturday was crap , and parking was a bit naff , apart from that me and the ringer patrol had a great day, very sporting day thanks to everyone who played , also big thanks to bully and everyone envolved,the marshalls where excellent cant wait for next one guys.

I wasn't able to play this year but still wanted to be involved, so I marshalled! It's great to get a post up in thanks from you but in fact my thanks go out to you all, after all YOU made the day we just helped it along at times.

Marshalling the bridge was an experience but like mr_meaner say's... That's paintball

I'm not saying that I wouldn't have liked to have played but just being there and being involved was better than sulking at home let alone receiving a Star Wars plaque from Bully (Thanks Steve, Gill, Dave and everyone)

I gota say it was damn hard work at times but hell it was worth it.

Once again, it was you guys that made the day so a BIG UP to you all and thanks for making it such a day for me to remember.

Don't think that you'll be so lucky next year I should be out on the field playing!!!

Just hope I didn't P**S too many of you off in the afternoon making the rebels go way back to re-insert that I'll be in a world of pain for my efforts next year.
