Standard A1 bits onto A1 Fly body ,will it work ??

Afternoon people, i have been after an A1 body and a chap has dug out a Fly body ,my A1 was standard , is it all going to go into a Fly body ok, or is it not happening ?? , looking at his pic he posted the front reg is different so would i need a fly reg too ? any advice ,thoughts appreciated,cheers,Dennis.

From what I can remember about angels, the A1 Fly body and original A1 body are pretty much the same just some minor milling changes, I'm quite sure these will be a easy swap out.

As for the front reg, this hopefully will be ok. The original A1 had the one piece front reg that screwed direct onto the main body. On the newer A1 Fly, the bottom part of the reg unscrewed and then you only had a small reg mount to screw off the body, this made it easier to strip the gun down. Also it was slightly better looking and it meant you could change if you wished to a CP or other aftermarket reg.

I think that if you had the replacement A1 fly body, you should be able to mount the front reg as before, if the milling or air holes are wrong then it may be easier to just purchase a replacement front reg mount from Lips and source a CP reg, this will be alot easier than trying to get another Angel one.
