Hi does anyone have any new info on the problems with Stako's as i dont want to go out a get a new bottle and find out that mines ok.STAKO any new info?

i would have thought that the millennium series should have announced something by now but no nothing. i have looked in latest rule changes,general news but zilch. i guess its to much to ask for an update???

My leaking tank was collected by TNT yesterday (monday 4th) and is winging it's way to poland for inspection/testing.
How long ago did you get your Stako and where abouts was the leak and do you have a batch no so i can make sure if mine is dodgy or not. It still dosnt help if i carnt use it anywhere but id like to find out for or when were given the ok.Thanks Ghandi
Right, I don't know if you've heard this one ....but
Allegedly the MS have struck some deal with a sponsor who is trying to introduce a new air system which is in direct competition with Stako ,This company has two containers full of air systems just waiting to be distributed throughout the UK/Europe
So the MS and H-pac have cooked up this problem with Stako's and banned them from there series knowing that all the other domestic series will follow suite like Lemmings at a base jump,new company comes in with air system to save the day ,Stako gets proper ****ed and MS and H-pac get a nice back-hander..
And this is definitely true because I got told by a polish bloke who says he is mates with the designer of the Stako tank back in Poland and they've been using them for ages and we all know that Luxfer had a problem and had to re-call tanks and no-one banned them ,right ...eh ...eh

Stako's press release was reasonably agressive towards H-PAC... along the lines of nearly calling them liars and a barely veiled threat that suggested they will sue if the claims are found to be untrue.
It's all very messy and conspiracy theories are great fun but not that useful until proven one way or the other!

Well I don't like conspiracy stories when I own a stako! I quite like using it and don't want to trade it in for a big heavy bottle
At least I can still use it at the NQ
