as a member of staff at campaign cup, I would like to stand up for all the marshalls who had to work all day with a half hour break if they were lucky , all you guys out there moaning should have seen how knacked these guys were by sunday, Sam who was at the hotel with us was dead on his feet , but do you here these guys bitching and moaning no because they get on with it, so till some of you out there have marshalled a big event like this and seen how hard it is keep quiet,I also agree with Robbo Nial did a fantastic job , as we all did I hope .;) ;)

1--then maybe there should have been more guys out there, eh?
2--why should they? For whatever reason you agreed to do the job and they didn't--they elected to pay money in order to compete. Whether they are right or wrong they've got every right to voice their opinions.

there could have been 20 marshalls on my field and i would still be this tired. Judging is physicaly and mentally draining regardless of how much moving you do. keeping attention going when you have 4 successive games that last 9.5 minutes is tiring, when it happens for three days, plus i judged both nights of Xball i think i have the right to be tired.

There was one incident during Friday night's X-ball session where one member of staff came storming out to the seating area next to the field, obviously extremely angry, shouting about someone calling him names or something - what was that about?

From where I was sitting, most of the crowd had been enjoying a fantastic game of 'ball, shouting encouragement at the players we liked, casting aspersions on the mothers of those we didn't, and general light-hearted jibing of the refs ("are you blind man?!" etc)... wasn't it a bit egotistical to think that the crowd were taking any interest at all in the staff who were wiping down the bunkers?
