Spyders Are Sh*t

the first time i played i had a 98 custom and we played 4 on 5 tippmann verse spyders 5 peeps were rookies with tippmanns and the 4 team was all experienced peeps with spyders, we tore them appart the first and second game and after the second game every spyder was leaking air or just didn't work.

all i have to say is i am so glad i didn't buy a spyder when i startedi have been playing for a month and never had any problems thanks to tippmann

Spyders

Spyders are still beginner guns. My friend has had one for two years and it has never had any problems. I have 1 as a backup and it's never chopped a ball in 1 year. I have heard tippmann's are nice but I never used 1 cuz I'm prejudiced against anything that lookes close 2 a real gun.

how many types of marker have you ever played with.........1 by any chance ,spyders if looked after are decent markers,if they wern't there wouldn't be as many spyder clones

didnt have any probelems when i had a spyder, but maybe it wasnt the guns that sucked it was the players, and in my experience spyders out perform tippmans

Let me guess, you've been browsing tippmann forums. They bash everygun unless it looks like a tank. Spyders are very nice guns and i rate them higher than tippmanns. They look better, easier to adjust and there is many different styles. Whereas the tippmann has maybe 4 lines, pretty much all black(non annodized) and are damn ugly.

The spyders have a better valve/bolt system than the 98 and will work with co2 much better due to the design.

IMHO Spyders > Tippmanns.

I don't know about that. I would have to give the award for good looks to the spyders (most of them ). I do however like the tippmans better because they are almost industructable. I've had my sl-68 for over seven without one problem, and my 98 coustom since they came out and not one problem. I've put countless rounds through them both. I don't use them verry often, but whenever I want to use them, I just pull them out gass them up and go play.

But the Tippys are absolutely dreadful to try to tear down and put back together. I guess it keeps the inexperienced from getting in there and messing with things. Luckily there isn't much need to tear them down.
