i dont care much for spydrs and thier clones. the problems i see in it are that feed neck, metric NPT threads, the drop is fugly and u need a grip block adapter for most drops, the pull on the mech spyders i have used is kinda long and hard, but for a speedball player who is cant afford a great gun, it should be fine

Yeh, joe-bob's right...and Spyders are so cheap 2nd hand that you can afford to get something a little better.

Go on classifieds and see what people have to offer in the way of electric spyders, you can probably pick up an electra/e-99 or Amg for the region of £100, possibly with hopper or gas thrown in..:)

dude id say by all means go for a spyder/ spyder clone, but whatever you do, dont buy any upgrades for it. You could spend loads on upgrades but when the time comes and you want to sell up, you could only get 150 for it :(. If you got the spyder, id reccomend saving up and going for a 2nd hand angel/imp/cocker
