as long as money isnt a problem a set of dye barrels would be better that a freak kit. also you can buy electro grip frames for a spyder but their not cheap!!!

I put a Freak Barrel on my spyder shutter and it rocked! The Freak is a great Barrel, but if the whole kit is too expensive just buy a barrel and a couple of inserts!:D

where in my post did i say that it would be the same price?????

i started off saying IF MONEY IS NOT A PROBLEM i was simply saying that in my opinion a set of dye barrels would be better than a freak.

if money wasn't a problem i doulbt he would of bought a shutter in the first place,£600+worth of barrels on a £150 marker is a tad of a overkill don't you think:rolleyes:

lee
you could get a decent regulator as the stock isn't meant to be that good, also your going to need a motorised loader as well.these will help consistency and rof:D
ps get the freak if you can afford it,even if you change markers you only need to buy a new back piece for the freak(if differant threads)

Well, the two things i would upgrade on a Shutter would be the barrel, the grip frame, and the expansion chamber. The order in which you get these depends on if you are after a faster fire rate or more accuracy, or more consistent chronoing.

It also depends on how much cash you wanna get rid of, the cheapest option i think would be to go for a DYE Excel barrel or something similar for around £35, and it's a pretty decent barrel.
Or if you feel like spending more, get a boomstick, one of the best out there for about £80.......or you could get an electronic grip frame for about £100 which would give you a light trigger pull of as little as 1mm. Oh yeah, almost forgot the expansion chamber. The shutter only has a 2 or 3 stage one, i would invest in a 6 stage expansion chamber for more consistent velocities, especially if you run on CO2. You can pick up a 6 stage expansion chamber for less than £25.
