spyder shutter Yay or Nay

If you maintain it well the gun will run great. You may blow out an internal seal every now and then if you get it shooting fast on a co2 tank, and the thing will be a terrifyingly loud gas hog, but it'll run fine. Spyders are good starter guns, though I would recommend looking into an M3 Black Dragun, the things are duplicates of spyders, with a decent electro grip for about $150 (american). Its about what you'd pay for a Shutter, and as far as I'm concerned its a better gun, it lets you play recball just as well and if you start drifting towards tourneys it will let you compete at that level as well.

Edit:
I guess I should tell you that I own an Dragun myself, I use it as a backup now and for a season it was my main gun. A friend of mine bought a shutter, then put on an electro grip (I believe it was called a "Sprint" though I'm not sure). In the end, he payed about a hundred more for his setup, which wasn't really worth it. The shutter is a larger, heavier marker so it'll be a little unweildy, but he did have a full auto feature (boy did we have some fun with that ;)).

Hi! I just buoght a Spyder Electra and it works geat! If you can stretch that little bt further with your money I would definatly recommend getting one. Spyder, in my eyes, make the most reliable markers out there, but with all markers if you show them love, they will love you back.
I assume your as new to this sport as I am (I've been a few times and fell in love the moment i started pulling the trigger!) and a Spyder of any kind is a great entry level marker.
As regards the Shutter, if you can't stretch your budget to an Electra, seeing as though it has Spyder written on it then I would definatly get it.

Hope it helps you out a bit.

P.S. I'm going to a walk on at Campain in Surrey on the 23rd if your interested.
