Spyder pilot board issue

I bought a second hand spyder pilot and it is not turning on. I am using a 9v block battery, should it matter that I am not using a 9.6v battery? If not, then is the board kaput?

9 volt should work just fine in that. Have you another battery you can try?

Tried a brand new energizer high tech battery but still no power

You definitely putting it in the right way? I can't remember what sort of connector they have.

They have a block connector with small and big connector

Sounds like the board is fried

My spyder is the oldskool pilot, anywhere I could get a board for it? Its without the eyes or the ACS

Got it working! I found that if I push the switch in, it works. Must be a faulty switch!
