Spyder Maintenance.

Hey all. I have a Spyder Electra. Brand new, my first gun, Ive only ever used rental guns before. Starting tournaments next week.

Since I haven't yet played competitive paintball and don't know anything about my gun. I need some help with maintenance.

What are the key things I need to do to keep my gun in great condition? (e.g. What do I need to clean, oil, how often etc etc.)

Please just list the important things I need to do to make sure it always runs gr8!

well with the spyder

its easy to take out the bolt, and hammer etc, so after each use, you should take it out and oil and clean it. by putting a little oil in the asa, you can lube the internals by putting gas in and firing the gun through a few times. do that every now and again, and it should stay in tip top condition.

Make sure you get a spare parts kit, and keep some gun oil and Q-tips with it, and a few bottle O-rings. Also, before every game don't forget to hop 5 times on your left foot while spinning counterclockwise (widdershins?) with your gun in the air while singing the "Ehu---Ahhh!" part of that song "Stand by Me". Trust me, it works every time...
