I want to get a maker after playing paintball a few times. I am on a budget of around 150 pounds. I was browsing online and saw some spyders. Problem is I do not know which one to get. The spyder rodeo, E-99, Imagine or spyder electra. I do not know which one is worth the money, can someone help? Is there also any point in an electric trigger for the spyder (cus the rodeo does not have one)

Might be worth your time to look at the later electronic spyders. Slightly higher rate of fire than the older ones.
Planet have got the E-99 avant, touch over the £150.
I have had a few spyders & not any problems that can't be solved by a o-ring change.
Stock spyder barrels are pretty crap, so you might have a look at getting an aftermarket one straight off.

well

i dont' know pounds but i know dollars, for the same money as the spyders, get a piranha, they're more durable, reliable, better customer service, overall better, get an electric hopper if you get an electric gun, you'll need it to keep up with high rates of fire (rof), a revy or reloader will do, maybe a new barrel, any dye, smart part, custom product, or jj will do, don't forget a mask, and a tank

id say go for a 2nd hand amg aswell

they look kool in my opinion especially for a spyder and seem to have the best reviews by people who have used them

there was a total co2 setup with revvy etc for sale not so long back and i dont thnk it sold

do a search for spyderamg

i think that works

be careful buying from america (unless that is where you are based). you may find that the import tax will make it more expensive than buying from the UK

not sure about this, but i think america markers brought into the country are also imported allowing full auto, which is illegal in this country (but i could be wrong on this)

Also make sure that the £150 you have available is enough to cover the costs of the gas bottle, hopper and goggles that you are also gonna need

i can't comment on dragons, or piranha's as i have never used one, but the spyders are good.

as bomberoo said, get rid of the stock barrel as soon as possible, its more like shooting down a drain pipe than anything else

check out the classifieds, you will find some good deals on second hand

whatever you choose, welcome to the world of paintball :D
