1. Get an aftermarket barrel or two. There are a ton of barrels for the Spyder. Which one depends on your price range. Check the web for barrel reviews if you're not sure what you're looking for.

2. Get an agitating hopper. It'll feed balls faster and you'll chop less paint.

3. If you're using CO2, get an air tank. You'll get better consistency with air than you will with CO2.

Play with your gun for a while before you spend too much on it. After you've played with it, you'll know what you want to change. You might want to save up for a better gun, get an electronic grip, or just spend your money on paint and playing.

Thank you for the help, i have gone 3 times so far and love it more and more. I think I'll probably get a barrel from custom products or a Boomstick from Dye. Price is not a big problem Its just that there are so many to choose from and i hear good and bad from all of them.

In a month or so i will probably look into an electronic grip, heard thoughs are great.

1,welcome to the boards
2,if you can afford it,get a barrel with changable bore sizes so you can always get a decent paint to barrel match ie freak system or the pipe system.(you can get a junior freak for the spyders=barrel+1 insert and you can buy the rest of them later)
3,get a electro hopper
4,if you are on co2,get a decent reg:D

Spyder Regs

Definatley go for a good reg.
It will not only stop you running hot over the chrony but it really does make the gun noticably more accurate, no more nasty spikes!

One thing to watch is spyders have a strange thread on their hoses. If you change to a non-kingman reg. (Air America Vigilante is a Damn fine reg for C02) you'll possibly need to change your ASA and hoses also.

For reference, you can get an anti-siphon tube for your CO2 tank for $3 instead of $300 for an air tank, and it will give you *almost* the same consistency improvement, but not quite, and wont solve temp issues.
