okay, i'm planning on getting a Spyder compact, i've been Paintbvalling once and goin again on the 27th... and i'm hopefully gettin a gun soon, should i get a Spyder compact?

that is a nice starter gun, but you should try it out first before you buy it. but if you can get the e-99 because it was on sale for like 125 dollars a few weeks ago, and maybe it still is. and it has an electro gripframe, so you can get a faster ROF then the standard kingman gripframes. hope this helps.

NoNoNO. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy a spyder as your starter gun. Spyders work extremely well if people give it constant maintenance and know how to fix severe problems. The(un) Reliability of a spyder is not something someone just starting on paintball should wanna mess with. I would STRONGLY suggest a tippman. Very reliable. In the states we have a story of it getting runover by an 18 wheeler and still shooting. Its low maintenace, just lube and clean, and shoots great for a starter gun. Good Luck

have you ever used one???

I started with a spyder, but only after having tried a couple of different markers at a local site , at the time the spyder was the marker in my price range I preferred,

Try before you by if at all possible
