Hi mods I purchased a pm8 from spsimon
http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/member.php?u=12819

In this thread:

The gun finally arrived early this week and well it really wasn’t as described. On opening the box I found it to have quite a few 'dings' throughout the paint work as well as a few deep scratches. Just above where the barrel connects to the gun (the over lapping triangular piece of body) looks like it has come into contact with something quite hard, leaving 3 circular holes, a couple millimetres deep. The barrel is also marked, which is understandable, but still not as described.

Passing over all of this I switched the gun on and found that the eyes didn't work. They continuously show the breach to have a ball in when it doesn't. I should mention that they are laser eyes and that id read that it’s a fairly common problem if they are not lined up correctly.

So on opening the eye covers, which was a bit of a task, I found that the eyes had been super glued or some sort of adhesive had been used to secure them. This had subsequently leaked over the eyes themselves... After removing most of the residue and placing them back in they still didn’t work.

The last step was to check the tadao board to see if anything looked suspect and wouldn’t you know it, it looks like the eye wires have been soldered directly to two contacts on the board, which leads me to believe that the eyes probably came from a different type of gun. The cables also look fairly frail.

Quite a lot of hassle from a gun that is supposedly in immaculate condition with no problemsL. I have emailed the seller over the last couple of days as his PM inbox was full. I have told him that I want some sort of compensation or a full refund if we couldn’t come to some sort of medium. I haven’t had a reply.

It looks like I’ll have some repairing to do.

I hoped to bring this to you guys just in case anyone else has any problems with him.

Cheers,
Paul.

It would appear that you also bought this by PM as I don't see your offer, or confirmation of purchase anywhere on that thread. This is against the rules of the forum, wihch are there for YOUR protection in just such a case as this.

I'm not sure what you'd like the mods to do, given that you have gone against the advice we freely give on use of paypal, and the rules of the classifieds.......
