Hi,

Going to spray my halo hopper tommorow but im not sure what spray paint will endure paintballs splatting against it without the paint coming off, so im just wondering if any of you guys have done it before and know a good bottle to get.

Thanks

Well........If you want your hopper to look really cack in 6 months time then do as martin says:( otherwise check out this link:p

Halfords car paint looks good when you've just done it but it will flake and fall off for sure as it's a rigid paint that will break off of the surface of your flexible plastic hopper
Either "DYE IT" or use "polycarbonate model paint".
Somewhere on that thread there's a bit by me with a link to my hopper, it still looks like that today :D

Just to prove my point, ever seen a local boy racers car where he sprayed it himself and yet all the paints flaking off the bumpers and spoilers etc etc, it's because he didn't use a special and expensive plastic preperation so the paint simply didn't bond.
Go for the remote control car shell paint and spray the inside;)
Have fun and get creative:cool:

Only if you've spayed it Orange or you've paint a "splat" up the side of it !
Clear hoppers are illegal in most major tournaments because apparently being able to see the paint inside, looks like a break from a distance or something like that........i've never truly understood why?
Providing your hopper is a single colour or simple design, then your fully legal,
"go play, have fun"

you could try polycarbonate sprays from model shops. I've sprayed a few eggs which have looked great, the paint is permanent as it etches into the plastic. If your hopper is clear, spray the inside for a really good shine.
