ive got an m4 which i wanna be spraying into a nice camo look. now anyone whos seen 'SHOOTER' would have seen them buying cans of spray paint from his local DIY shop and spraying his sniper rifle. anyone know if this is a viable option (obviously removing moving parts like the bolt and ensuring the trigger doesnt stick in place and the such.

i know this is more a electro / tourny forums but someone here might have an idea on this kinda stuff :)

many thnx

Heya Dave, i believe for paintball guns it is recommended that you anno your guns - also, i'd think normal paint would come off under fire and fall off aswell? i've only heard of ppl painting eggs/revvys etc.

Yeah, paint generally won't withstand hits too well, thing is if your sniper rifle gets hit you're a bit fubared anyway, in paintball you'll take 1000's of hits through your balling life ;)

the other way in which you can spray a gun is powder coating. This is with a compressed air gun, you then need to put the anno job in an oven at 300degrees so as the paint can dry. You can't use normal paint it has to be annoe'd. For camo jobs it will cost around $300

;)
