SPPLAT Attack on US Pay Per View?

A bit of Rumormill, but I thought 'yall would like the scoop before ANYONE else gets to see it in paintball!

Exciting news from the Shatner paintball world...it's going to be a Pay Per View Event!

Tentatively scheduled for Sunday December 8th the event will be shown on pay per view outlets around the country.

And don't worry - this isn't going to affect when the movie goes on sale. It is scheduled to be released that next Tuesday December 10th.

If you preorder the movie you should have it in time for the holidays (if you live in the US.)

Those that attended: did you ever think you'd be a part of a Pay Per View event?

Any ball on TV is good far as I'm concerned...was it a good event? Will it televise well d'ya think?

Well, depending on what they do with it, I think it could be one hell of a video. I kow for a fact they had this kick-ass alien there, I watched them film it up. The 'storyline' may be a bit thin, but I think it's more a scripted doccumentary than a real "trek-paintball film", but I think it'll be good.

The film crew were very professional all day, from my expirence with them. They had the righ tgear, and the right stuff. Bunch of nice guys, really. And, the best part, they never got in the way of someone's shots. That's better than most refs.

And, I know for a fact they filmed the meow-man himself, so if I'm in it, you KNOW it's quality. I know Bill loved the ears and tail, so I scored big-time in my red-shirt.

See? I met Bill! I swear! (And, unrelated, "Undercover" made the spots. Thanks guys! But *I* made the ears and tail!)

Hey tyger You wouldn't happen to know if it is going to be released On DVD. If this is the case I might have a chace of seeing it

Dec 10 is the release date, allegedly. DVD YES!

I'm getting one, dammit. And I'll frame-by-frame that puppy looking for people I know!
