No idea if this is the right/best place to ask about this, but does anyone know the best way of getting sponsorship for my paintball team, or who/where is good to get sponsorship from?

There are lots of ways to gain sponsorship for paintball, some of the easiest ways are to quite simply be direct and polite towards any of the well established retailers (LiPS, Just Paintball, BZ, etc...) most of these will be more than happy to support you with reductions in gear throughout the season (obviously you wont be seeing any freebies this side of the century) but its a good place to start.
Your best bet is to try for a paint reduction first, as this is going to be your life force, good quality, cheap paint = good quality, cheap paintball.
Out of interest whats the name of your team? and what are you planning on playing this season?

Best way to get sponsorship would be to place well in CPL or SPL.
If on the other hand your team has more conservative goals then you may be able to swing a bit of discount from a retailer.
They, you and many others may refer to this as "Sponsorship" but in reality it's little more than a marketing ploy, playing on our inherent illusions of grandeur to encourage store loyalty.
But it can be kinda neat

I would suggest that you send a CV of your team to the store or manufacturer you would like to sponsor you.
The CV should include a resume and photo of each player, your achievements to date and your goals for the future.
I would suggest you approach one of the following:-
1. Eclipse;
2. DYE;
3. Angel Paintball Sports.
Please do not approach all 3 - this looks like you are playing them off against each other. Paintball is a small community and word gets around quick.

Cook$, how do you propose I get my face out there? As in, do you mean just play more tourny and walk around with a mask off all the time (except when I have to wear it obv)? Or attach my photo to emails? Or get a job advertising underwear on billboards?? okay, maybe not that last one!! And im told im attractive haha.
which tournaments do you play?? certain events might have photographers etc. recently an all girls team from America i believe have done a calendar.. and they advertise through facebook.
