Hey guys, there's a question i've been wondering about for a while and I can't seem to get it outta my head. I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on this. Ok, for example, if a team puts a planet eclipse logo on their custom team jersey but they're NOT sponsored by planet eclipse, would it be wrong/illegal? And why?

Is it because a team might not play as well and it might ruin the name of the company?
Is it because logos are for actual sponsored pro teams only?

But isnt the main point of putting a logo on a jersey to advertise the company/brand?

Sorry if this is an obvious question.

The thing with Planet Eclipse jerseys is finding a place to put a logo where there isn't one already.

Well i dont quite mean on a planet eclipse jersey itself..as in if a team used a completely blank jersey with no brands on it..but sticks a planet eclipse logo and/or other logos for design purposes (when they're not sponsored by any of them)..would it be wrong/allowed..?

carnt see why it wouldnt be allowed, because if it was an official sponsored team the gear would be supplied by said manufacturers/dealers and would incorporate the team's name and any other sponsors. and most likely the sponsored gear would be stock or designed around stock using designers etc from the sponsors themselves as opposed to buying a sticker.

no different to adding stickers to hoppers/masks etc

If you want to show support for a company, then thats more than ok. The said company may even see all your support, and reward you with a team discount or whatever.

Go for it.
