Splash Paintball Tournament - South Africa

The 2nd annual South African Splash paintball tournament is being held over the Easter weekend this year (19/20 April). The event is held at the Vodacom Splash Festival in sunny Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and is the 2nd largest beach festival in Africa. Last year the event was a huge success and made it onto 3 local TV channels.

The favourable exchange rate makes travelling to SA extremely cheap - entry to the event works out at approx £110 per 5-man team! Flights are easily available and free accommodation can be organised for any teams interested.

I seriously looked at this. Playing 'ball by the Indian Ocean TOP!!! However when I looked into flights I got the fright of my life. The cheapest that any travel agency quoted was £750 ish !! It has something to do with the cricket world cup in SA so even with the fantastic exchange rate it proved too costly.

The cricket world cup is in Feb & March, the Splash is in April.

Myself and a buddy are heading over to SA from the UK to play and managed to get flights on the 12th April for around £360 return.

Give STA Travel or Flight Centre a call.

I played for Fury (Dean, Rowan and the Boys) last year. I am now living in the UK, moved here +- 1 month ago. How can I get into a team over here? Any advice on how to get things going. I want to play am A or am B. Who else is over here from SA?

Hey Dave,

Myself and Leon Foulkes are over here, both of us played for Hardcore in SA. Your team mate , Wayne, was over here too and was playing with Melvin's team Misfits, from Armson. Frans from Renegade in Cape Town here as well, so are 1 or 2 of the Impact players.

I haven't played at all since I got here 9 months ago, but I've got an Angel and an X-Mag in my cupboard.
