I've just been wondering.. how fast do paintball guns actually go?

Like.. an upped ion or something like that..

velocity is capped to 300fps at max. sometimes 280.

That isnt enough to break your finger unless you have some kind of medical condition or got really unlucky - I'd suggest that whoever shot you had a hot gun...

If the paint is particularly hard and if you get hit the 'wrong' way you can receive a fracture - personally I would recommend drinking more milk.

yer its pretty hard to break your finger playing paintball..well done.
My mate kev stuck his finger down the barrel eek: ) to clean the mud out of it after a bad dive and shot...and he still didnt break his finger

Yeah, my freind had his hand over another guys barrel so he wouldnt shoot anyone, but then he pulled the trigger. The expression of shock on both their faces was priceless.

mind you dont hurt your finger, while your rolling on the floor. boy, i wish i had a bigger room, OR i was shorter, so I could roll on the floor. your a lucky guy.

do you mean like if the velocity was turned up as far as it will go? if so not sure, well over 400fps i would have thaught.
