Speed 05 Menu + Version?

Hi guys, on my speed 05 the software version is two greens and two yellows, and i want to know what the final menu setting is for? It's not in the manual. the top LED flashes through all the colours.

What is this setting? What is the best setting for it?

Thats your maximum rate of fire. As i recall, the bottom led means its set at either 15 or 18 bps, and each time you pull the trigger and add an led you add 3 bps to the max rof.

I'm not entirely sure about the figures above, but look back a bit and there's a comprehensive thread on this subject, which is how i know this. Try searching 'speed 05 menus' or something similar.

And i have mine set to 3 of the leds lit i believe.

aah did a search and got one, but still not sure to whether i have the latest mode, and why i should have it if i don't?


err yeah it says that menu is MROF for my mate's speed 06, but in the speed 05 manual i downloaded it says MROF uneder the LCD MENU section but says 'MROF is capped at 18 and doesn't say anything else, yet i can change it in the menu itself and it seems to fire faster on the top one!

hmm, don't have all the answers i'm afraid, not really sure. Mine also seems faster with it turned up, but it may be something to do with mrof with eyes on or off, or something equally strange. Don't worry about it tho, just knock it up a bit, set your trigger nice and you're away. Tis a shame they dont have it in the 05 manual though. With the software, its just best to have the latest one because they iron out any bugs in the programming, and the ramping changed i think, so the ramping mode has been updated in some way. Either get knocker or someone to take it up to wdp to get it re-flashed, or give it to Lee next training and he'll take it up for you, and give it a service at the same time.

So when did you finally get it? and is it in good condition and everything?

You had a fiddle with the trigger yet? And are you gonna be up the site on saturday?

yeah, i know what you mean about msn but it's usefull for non bull**** chat! , and there's no better way to get yer post count up on the forums than this is there

- I dunno if wdp would like it having the newton kit on you know , but either way ill get it serviced. Was in good condition once i wiped it down!, worked well for the marshalls knock and had a fiddle of the trigger but can't decide what setting is best for me, atm i've got it medium length with the activation somewhere near the middle and that feels pretty good so we'll see!


Milky just rang me up about entering a team, so probly playing yeah... are you marshalling then? got a new 06 rasta or nethin ?

You need it upping to version 7 with the look of it (PSP ramping). Don’t forget if your playing tournaments leave the mrof at 15bps (top led flash all colours, set it so just the bottom green is lit), same for trigger bounce; must not have it…

Will be there playing Saturday so will keep a look out for an illegal Speed05 or two …

If you go to menu with the top led flashing all colours and set all the small lights on, this is demo mode (dry fire only with version 7 sort ware).

Any more questions just say high on Saturday and we will try and sort it. The team have always used Angels since they came out many years ago; we predominantly shoot the G7 engine now (G7 Fly / Fly Arsenals and Speed 06) but have used every Angel going.

PS will if I remember bring a manual print out showing all modes of fire (not in the WDP manual)
