speed 05 eyes FAO John C etc...

ok guys I cleaned my speed 05 last week real creafully tested it and it worked fine.

now I took it out today & try as I might the eyes won't recognise anything it the barrel, so i've carefully removed the eyes from each side of the body of the marker & cannot see any obvious damage as well as checked the connection on the actual board itself & alls solid.

The marker without eyes on fires great. so I know its only the eyes that have a problem.

Any thoughts guys ?

Make sure the back of the led's are dry and remove the lead from the board and re-insert carefully.

If its not picking up the balls at all (as opposed to picking them up all the time) then there is either a short on the sensor or the eyes are broke.

Try cleaning the back of the sensor as Tom has pointed out.



More than likely you will need a new set of eyes.

If you've checked the gun when it's cold, condensation may be shorting the eyes. Worth cleaning the back of the eye covers and the led's.
