OMG have we started complaining about the food vendors already?
I was joking about this at the weekend and saying maybe we should get the thread up and running before the event!
(No offence Marcus, this isn't directed at you!)
We already have a thread running here where the majority of posters seem to be disappointed that one vendor or another isn't going to be present. Come on guys, we are in a difficult economic climate, vendors are businesses and will do what's most cost effective for them, I'm sure they'll be all too happy to supply you by mail order if the one item you want isn't actually at Campaign because they didn't commit financial suicide by renting a pitch and/or paying a sponsor fee, travelling to the event etc!
All we seem to do in this country is moan!
Rejoice that those vendors that are there are healthy enough to be able to afford to do so!
As for food, there are plenty of shops and supermarkets in Basildon and Billericay, you are just about competent to come on here and post your gripes, use the internet for some good and find out where they are, then go there and stock up on sarnies, drinks etc., if you don't want to be reliant on the site vendors. There's even a cafe at the farm visitor centre!
Remember its going to be a hot one, keep those liquid levels up!
To the OP, and everyone else, yes, turn up, browse the trade stands, watch some of the best painball players in the world play ball, go home happy, the only cost to you is your travelling etc.
I'll be there to make you look good if you're lucky enough to fall under the spell of my lens
