I have a set of Vents goggles. Does anyone know what happened to the company? I love this set, but I need replacement lenses. Whoo-hoo, a star.

The vents company was only around for about 2 years before Scott bought them out. They have 2 different sets of lens depending on what year the goggle was made.If it has nothing but little black clips securing the lense, your screwed.\Thats the oldest lense and if you can find a lense get it.Howevere second year lense are scott compatible, they have little plastic projections that help to secure the lense.Hope this helps Jason

PS They are awsesome masks that get lots of comments unfortunately Scott didnt ike someone else having a good product out so they bought them out and shut them down.I've got 3 sets but need lenses also. All are first year lenses.

Thanks for the reply. Checked mine, first year lenses. Damn Scott, damn them to hell. Oh well, I'll get some JT's and save these for days when I feel Ninja good. Cheers.

Substitute Vents Lenses

I also have Vents. There is a JT Lens made for one of their older style masks that can be made to fit. Never can remember the Lens type but it has these vicious pointed wings on the top and bottom in addition to square tabs. I generally ask the store staff.

A little judicious use of a dremel to remove the pointy ones and voila, a lens that fits Vents.

Buyer Beware. You are on your own with this advice since I am sure it voids all warranties by altering the lens. This is what I do. You may have other thoughts.

Unfortunately, most US Fields don't let Vents on anymore since there isn't an ASTM certified lens available. Their Insurance companies have laid down the law.
