SPE Bexley shut on Saturdays?

Since when have Smart Parts in Bexley been shut on Saturdays?

I just drove down on my regular saturday-afternoon-wanting-to-spend-some-money trip and it's all shuttered up with a sign saying "Closed on Saturdays until further notice".

They've been doing some renovations at Bexley lately, plus they are changing how they are dealing with retail customers. You can still go in to be served face to face and have a look at the new shiney toys etc, but will need to give them a call & make an appointment first on 01322 555968.
Oh, & I doubt they'll be open next Saturday even by appointment as they are going up to STB at Elsham , though I might be wrong there.

Ah, cheers Liz! I actually tried ringing them first but assumed that they were out at lunch or something... should have guessed I suppose!

I saw on their new website that they now advertise as being open from 10-3pm on Saturdays... is that an old copy of that page then?

Must be old - they changed to 12noon until 3pm a while back anyway for Saturdays, & I spoke to Phil before posting last night to make sure I'd got it right.

Gah! Once again discriminated against in favour of the dole scum who have nothing better to do on a weekday than go shopping

I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't charge such criminal amounts for postage.
