Credit and props to Mario from SPC Promotions for his initiative in making contact with the EPA, SPC Promotions are now involved in negotiations that will ultimately see all of SPC's events alligned with the EPA, and the EPA looking after all disciplinary issues.

Thanks to the work being undertaken by Goose and Andy Piper, see below.

"Here is the idea that we have from the EPA. Everyone that enters your tourneys must be a member, it will cost nothing to become a member and they will get a personalised I.D. Number which must be put on the waiver forms.

Then the EPA will take over any disciplinary issues that you have. We will not be hard about this if they don't join on the first event then just say hey just do it when you get home. We are getting the Nordic Series and the Swedish and Spanish guys involved so if someone transgresses in one event the rest of the organisations involved will know about."

'in ya face baby!'
sounds like a plan!!

im my opinion every series should adopt the same as the SPC then we can get rid of player problems once and for all and actualy have an independant body representing us at an organisational level!

well done guys, good to see!

Blakey.

Is that not like a really big hammer to crack a really small nut:(

Too clear things up...

First off the we would like to thank Blakey and SPC for their commitment to the EPA - talk about putting you money where your mouth is.

Second - at least in the beginning, the EPA will not be issuing I.D. cards - only player numbers. We are just starting and that kind of system requires CASH - but rest assured that it is on the list of thikngs to do.

Thirdly - Russell..... :)

The whole purpose of this idea is to establish both a standard and unbiased set of rules when it comes to player conduct. It is also to stop the "bad apples" from contaminating our sport. Just think of how many incidents might be cut down if your punishment not only was valid in your local series, but also any series within driving distance :). This might make people think twice about being dickheads.

Also - how many times have you or someone you know seen a team get let off the hook because of some "relation" to someone. Or how many times have we seen someone be accused of letting someone off the hook because of some "relation" to someone. We will deal with problems regardless of who they are, who they know or how much they pay. This can only be benifical to both players and organizers. No more accusations back & forth.

Lastly - everyone keep up the comments - they only make us better. Also get your teammates to sign up if they haven't already.

goose

P.S. We are just starting - but the more players who get involved - the bigger our voice gets. The bigger our voice gets - the more things we can then turn around and do for these very same players.

*mario takes his bow* :D

seriously though guys we at SPC firmly believe in the EPA and what it stands for.

russell, is player misconduct not a rather big nut?! we all know the infamous incident earlier this year that did spread like wildfire across the paintballing community in this country and across the waters...i personally think the EPA is the right hammer to do the job.

where do you sign up ??
could do with a link putting on here so ppl know where to go providing you can sign up online

still think its a great idea if it helps the sport and the domestic tournies here can only help the sport progress and stop the idiots from harming the sport

about id cards think that would be the way to go there was a thread on that issue somewhere
i for one would`nt mind paying for id cards on a yearly subscription atleast if everyone paid for them then the cash issue of doing them would hopefully be covered:)

well done spc and the epa
