I have a mag rigged to run on air, and am too effing lazy to cart a dive tank to sites that only supply CO2. What would be the implications of having a spare setup so I could switch to CO2 when I felt like it?

I know I would need a front bottle/xchamber. Would I also need a new bottle/bottom line or could I use my maxflow 3000? I'm a bit worried about this not having an anti-siphon in it.

I've been told that switching back and forth might blow seals and orings more often, but is there anything else to worry about.

Cheers

Hi,I keep a Mag as a spare to run on CO2/Air the only mod is an expansion chamber on the front bottle mount.Seals etc. won`t be a problem so long as you check/change them at regular intervals.
Not sure about the Maxflow(Smartparts will answer that question).I have mine on a bottomline and use 20oz`s or a Melee bottle, only minor problem is changing from CO2 to Air means you have to check the velocity and adjust it.

Nope ,everything you need you`ve got ,let me know how you go on.:D
Ps dont forget if you`re not running the 20oz as a remote,it would be wise to have it anti-syphoned,you`ll need the bottle, bottomline and Mag all connected to do this as its the only way to get the anti -syphon tube in the correct position.
