I'm (controversially ) thinkning of getting a nerve soon....

How do they compare to shockers? any major problems with them?

Not seen many on the scene really, apparently Dynasty are going to be using them and consequently a Dynasty nerve is in the pipeline.

Comments/opinions?

3 of just reading use them, Amazingly fast marker, eye logic works well, comparable to an impulse for acuracy but with less kick. not bad at all. expect 1400 shots from a 1.1, easy to set up and very consistent over the chrono.
Only thing to do is to inspect the eye regularly to keep it free of paint and the like.

Shocker:
• Lighter
• Smaller
• Sexier

Nerve:
• Faster (only faster than pre-04 shockers due to newer Shockers having Nerve board)
• Easier to maintain

The Nerve is a cross between a Shocker and Nerve... Or to me a SP DM4

Myself I own a Shocker and not had one problem with it. The only thing I have had wrong with it is the consintency due to having a new bolt. That's it.

Hope it helps anyway.

thanks for the replies chaps...

I'm going to evolve on mon/tue to get some cinammon butter and a set of bolt o-rings, got a tourney on sunday and if it behaves itself with the re-built bolt and new lube without requiring a re-lube during the day then it stays....

if not then one of these will be gracing my kit bag:

Nasty Nerve....basically a stock nerve with milling, a better lpr with volumiser, nasty hp reg and a nasty x trigger.
