SP Impulse Vision + Air?

I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me out here with a quick question:
Would a 1.1L 3000psi HP Preset, rated 800-900psi, work in an SP Impulse Toxic?
The guy said it isnt a proper Max-Flo regulator on it, its just the stock one that came with it (Could be Max-Flo Micro?). I've seen pictures and its rated from 0-400psi. He said the gun operates at 120psi.

Would this set up work together, or do i need another kind of bottle?

How is it currently set up by the owner?

The front reg should control the pressure, feeding 120psi into the gun from the air system. Whatever the output on the air system, its the front regulators job to ensure the correct pressure goes through the gun.

If you're unsure or think the front reg might need adjusting then best thing is to contact your local paintball site
