Soz to be difficult, how do eblade e2 cockers work?

same as an E1 cocker really, also kinda like a raced cocker also. come to think of it, it works like a mech cocker except its electric and not mech!:D

Cockers work in the following manner.

The air supply into the gun after teh Inline reg (verticle one around 325psi), is split between the firing mechanism, and the cocking mechanism, and lives in a chamber at teh front of teh gun, behind teh Front block where all the sticky out bits are, and continues a short way into teh gun above the reg mount.

When you gas teh gun up, you should always cock teh gun first, by pulling back on the cocking rod, that stick out of teh back, under teh bolt.

So...you gas your gun up.

At rest, the bolt remains forward and for this reason, is called closed bolt, as it remains forward when teh gun fires the ball.

As soon as you pull teh trigger, teh electronics take over..firstly...the software decides if teh trigger pull is a valid one (has it been pulled long enough) this is determined by teh TPUL setting...once it decides that it is valid, the SEAR SOLENOID, is activated, for a set amount of time (SEAR ON or SON), and pushes a plunger upwards, to make teh sear release teh hammer.

The hammer, is connected to teh cocking rod and is under spring tension.

Once the SON time (around 4m/s) has elapsed...the sear solenoid disengages and teh COCKING DELAY or CDEL time countdown starts...what this does, is allows time for the hammer, to go forward, strike teh valve, which allows gas to pass through teh valve, from teh air chamber described earlier, up through the bolt, out teh end, pushing teh ball out of teh barrel.

Once teh CDEL time has elapsed (around 3-6 m/s depending on if you have QEV's and other related variables)
The COCKING SOLENOID ON TIME or CON, starts to countdown and teh cocking solenoid at teh front of the gun, is activated.

What this does, is diverts air from the LPR or Low Pressure Regulator at teh front of teh gun, from teh back of teh ram (bit at front with pump rod screwed on) to the front of teh ram, which forces teh ram, to open push teh pump arm back.

The Pump arm, is connected to teh back block, which has teh bolt connected to it, via teh bolt pin....so pushing this back, allows teh breech to be open, and another ball to drop in...the action of the back block going back, also colects teh cocking rod, pulling this back against teh force of teh main spring, to teh point where teh sear catches it again, ready for the next shot.

The CON (typically 30-40m/s on a fast gun) time..allows time for the following things to happen:

Breech to open, by ram pushing back AGAINST spring pressure and excess ram pressure if no QEV fitted.

Time for loader to load a ball into teh breech (around 20m/s for a HaloB I think)

Once this time has elapsed, teh Cocking solenoid is de-activated, and the COFF (around 18-25m/s for example) or Cocking Off Time starts to count down.

This allows time for the air from teh LPR to be redirected back to teh back of the ram, which forces the ram to pull teh pump rod back again, closing the breech. This may be against excess gas in teh ram, if a QEV is not fitted and extra time should be allowed if that is teh case.

Once all this has happened the gun is cocked, loaded and ready to fire again.

That is assuming, that other factors EMPD (how long teh breech is empty for) BALD (how long a ball is detected for) and if teh eye actually sees a ball or not (if fitted), are satisfied.

LPR- Low Pressure Regulator at front of gun, drops input pressure from 325 psi to sub 100 psi, to control cocking mechanism.

QEV-Quick Exhaust Valve
This is lives on either end of teh ram, and vents excess pressure away from the ram, so that opening and closing cycles can be achieved with less cocking pressure, and not against trapped gas, compressing it and forcing it back towarrds teh cocking solenoid,,,makes things faster and allows for lower LPR pressure whcich reduces ball breakages, kick and subsequently, trigger bounce.

That assumes that teh cocker is electronic, and mainly an E1 or E2...not including all trigger filters etc, but as an idea.

If it is mech...then everything is teh smae, but teh cocking solenoid, is actually a 3/4 way valve..which is connected to teh trigger..as you pull teh trigger, first teh sear is tripped and teh gun fires, then teh valve switches aor to teh front of teh ram to open the bolt, then to teh back of teh ram to close teh bolt, as you release teh trigger.
