Southern Quarter Newbie Days?

I've heard that Brickets Wood has become Southern Quarter, and thus was wondering if their will be newbie open days for all those who havent had the full on experience of Sup' Air, or are looking to up their game by being taught by the experienced and gifted.

Northern Quarter seem to have frequent newbie days, so I hope that Southern Quarter can do the same?

Anyone got any news or info on this?

I was with Yorkie today and he didn't give away too much but he basically said that things are only going to get bigger for SQ, four more 7man fields on the way, a compressor and lots more items for the proshop. He hopes to host lots of tournaments there apparently.

There are no 'newbie days' down at SQ as such, but everyone down there is friendly and helpful and your welcome to play as much as you want.

I for instance don't normally play competitively and still enjoy practicing against various Division 1 ballers that come down.

Hope it helped.

Good manners...

I appreciate the sentiment that you can just turn up and practice with peeps anytime, but the following pops into mind...

a) I would consider it polite to pre-arrange with a team that you want to practice with them.

b) Just turning up, may mean you turn up and their is no-one else their.

I was suppose to train with a team this Sunday past, but at last minute they cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, and after they referenced me to two other teams it turned out no-one else was going. If I has just 'turned up' I may have had a wasted trip.

Hence, why I ask if their are specific days where people that arent in a team can just go down and have a go at some practice and some games.... such as on a newbie day....

Maybe a monthly Sup'air walk on day would be a good idea?

I believe when Yorkies set-up the remaining fields and gets the compressor, i believe he wants to follow suit and have a few newbie days and also has a couple of other ideas that cant be mentioned :p

At the top.

MK Storm are there most weeks - we weren't there the weekend just gone because we were playing the PA.

We are available if anyone wants to ask questions and have given people tips if we've noticed something whilst they were playing.

We haven't organised a newbie day yet, and at the moment we don't have plans to, we need to get our training sorted for a good result in campaign.

But as i have said - we are generally approachable and willing to provide tips and answer any questions people may have.

We are back there this weekend,
