Why are we Pirates ? Because we YARR !!! - And so can you be !!
As the sun creeps above the horizon again many paintballers come out of hiding now the warmth is returning. So now is the time for recruiting !!
The Southern Pirates are looking for new people to join. We have a steady core of players, and a larger group of irregulars but are looking for more people who want to play on a regular basis.
Generally speaking we play the Super5ives Winter and Summer Series every month of the year at the fantastic Ambush Southampton site. Come rain, shine, hail, or that cold white stuff that is the cause of many hilarious Youtube video's involving cars, we can be found playing.
This year we will also be mixing up events by doing some non-Super5ives events as well (details to be determined) but so far we have the Southern Masters pencilled in for the 24th of April at the awesome Bricketwood site.
Whilst the bulk of our players are in the Portsmouth & Southampton area's, we have players ranging from Bristol to Basildon, and up to Milton Keynes. We are "Southern" for a reason So your locality isn't an issue.
What we are looking for in a person:
And thats pretty much it, other than they will be required to buy a team jersey when we put an order in. We support British paintball and are a UK centric team, which is why we use Dark Sports paintballs, and Eclipse gear. Although we prefer players to use Eclipse gear it is not an absolute YOU MUST OR DIE.

We also support Bliss the Premature Baby Charity, and the National Autistic Society, so by wearing a team jersey you will be raising awareness of these awesome charities.
Mostly we are looking for people with the same mindset as us. Fun ballers, who give it their all but can walk up to their opponents and shake their hand with a smile even if they've been beaten.
Its not the winning that matters, its the taking part !!! (Although the winning can be nice as well hehe)

- Must have their own gear (mask, marker, pack, etc)
- Must have a desire to play on a regular basis
- No ar*eholes. We want people who want to win, but want to have fun more
