I'd like to extend an invitation to anyone interested to the S.A. Splash 2003 tournament next year. The event is held over the Easter weekend (19 & 20 April 2003) at the Vodacom Splash festival in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The festival is the 2nd largest beach festival in Africa and this year attracted 830,000 visitors. This year's tournament was aired on 4 of the country's 5 major TV channels, was widely covered in the local newspapers and a review was published in the August issue of PGI. The event is a 5-man airball format, following Millenium Series rules ( with some minor adjustments). This year's tournament saw 2 days of sunshine, girls and non-stop partying on the beachfront, with the playing field overlooking the Indian ocean. The organisers are desperately trying to attract any foreign teams for next year and with an exchange rate of 15-1 UK Pound, it's unbelievably cheap for UK teams.
