Latest Info...

Dear Teams ,

Please accept our apologies for the length of time it has taken to get this
info out to you. First of all this was not an easy task to find a fair and
economical way to play the missed matches for you the teams. Then we had to
look at the amount of matches that needed to be played and ensure they
didn't interfere with the Bitburg event itself and that teams were not asked
or expected to play so many games in one day .

We then have the restriction of only having space for 5 fields at Bitburg
and then last of all the proposed ban from some in the German government
which we had to make sure would not effect this event . This of course took
Ulrich and Sascha out of being able to solve this issue for a number of
days.

After much communication and valuable feedback from a great number of teams
here is the detail you need. We will endeavour to play all remaining prelim
matches and as many of the remaining matches as possible in Bitburg , and
we will then play any remaining and the finals of the Fuengirola Beach Cup
in Paris .

To help achieve this we would be grateful if any teams from Div one , SPL
and CPL who will be available to play matches on Thursday afternoon to
please let us know so we can build a schedule to get as many games played
on Thursday to help ease the pressure . This is not a must play Thursday, it
is a request to see who can and how it will help.

No teams or matches will be played on Monday .

CPL teams please be aware that you will have matches scheduled for Friday
morning and not just in the afternoon as normal.

Details of seeding, rosters, layouts etc will be sent out next week and they will be
resolved in a manner that is most convenient to teams.

Thank you all for your patience but I believe we have found a way to play all
the matches and end with a result at all levels, without any additional cost
to teams and player and in a manner which is fair to all teams in both
events.

Please all, I urge you once again to motivate as many teams, players, anyone
from the paintball community to support vigorously this German event so that
we can do our bit to help fight this proposed ban by showing what a great
sport this is. Help prevent the spread of this anti paintball piece of
legislation across the whole of Europe.

That statement was sent out to all team owners/representives today, but does it mean that malaga is now a NON ranking event and paris IS a ranking event?

Because if malaga still is a ranking event what will the draw be for germany?you can't seed teams for a event if they hav'nt played all there previous games.

Well, not all team owners?

Doublechecked the mailbox today and all I got from Mill was an offer to purchase their fields from Bitburg:confused:
