good morning,
once again i got a whole grip of questionz. ur advice means alot

ppl tell me to get a bettuh gun and all cuz my shutter is a piece of s***. well i went again the other day. It did pretty well jus doesnt go too far and acurracy isnt the best. hopefully a new barrel can fix the accuracy and nitro can fix the range. but...

1. I want a katana but there soo hard to find. I&I Sports only has them for tippmans. Im tryin to find one with at LEAST 14 inches for a spyder.

2. My gun cant even fit a nitro tank on to it. and wen i find one that does. It shoots two balls and doesnt recock. wat a piece of poop. wat happened?!

3. wats the difference between a semi or electronic gun and an autococker???

thx pplz

the shutter isn't that bad.. what made you decide to want a katana? how much are you willing to spend on your barrel?

semi shoots 1 paintball everytime you pull the trigger, everything runs on mechanics

electro of course uses battery power to move the bolt, has a very short trigger pull, and normally has various shooting modes and/or some sort of timer

1,the evil pipe system would be a better bet, katana seems a bit gimicky to me
2,a preset air system ie nitro duck will screw in the same as a co2 bottle will, its fixed at 800 psi the same as co2.the air system you tried was probbably set at a much lower pressure, syders are designed to have 800 psi into the asa, thats why it would not recock:D

Which marker does this magical movement?

Electro markers have an electrical circuit that controls a solenoid that in turn releases a measured amount of gas to.......move the bolt and release gas in a measured volume to fire the paintball...ok very basic explanation but close enough ;)

As far as the question that started this thread...

semi = pull trigger, paintball fires and marker recocks its self ready to fire again

Electro = same as above (though some fancy modes like full auto, burst etc can be available for each trigger pull but only on certain makes)

Autococker = same as semi..no extra modes are available on a basic autococker...bolt on an electro frame and model/make dependant all kinds of fancy modes can be had.

some electric guns

electric blow backs use e.g spyders the electricity just in the trigger frame to move the pin thingy that catches the hammer and the bolt in the back position quicker and easier - so the blow back mechanism is the same as mechanical guns- no solenoid.
and i reckon cockers are more accurate! some disagree.

yeah but

guns with open bolt, blow back hit the ball with ferosity, it can make the ball spin etc. and closied bolt guns, like the cocker, are much more stable. the operation of the cocker gives it much less/no kick back.
