Hi and welcome to P8nt..

Where abouts in the southeast are you marshalling ??

If i was starting out again and was looking at a cheap option and a sturdy option, i would most certainly be looking at these markers..

All of my choices belong to planet eclipse, this is because they make solid and very reliable markers..

ETEK1, a few years old now but there are some very good examples out there. £140 - £160
ETEK2, Once again just about to be replaced by the etek3.. £180 - £210

Both the above are easily upgraded with a Starframe giving you an OLED Screen read out for easier setting up ability.£90 - £100
Zick kit to cut out some of the kick. £20
Laser eyes, just to pick up the ball detection a little faster.. or just to look flash. £15
Cure bolts, well i cant say if they are really needed or just hype.. £20

If you dont want to upgrade with the extras but like the idea of having an OLED screen layout , buy one of the below..

EGO05, Great marker and to some of the best built.. £150 - £180
EGO06, £170 - £200
EGO07, This would be my personal choice, i loved the 07 and in the SL74 Version one of the best Planet Eclipse markers ever made £200 - £250.

Hope this of help to you, at the end of the day it depends on what you have to spend, but i would certainly say all very solid markers.

hi, if you wanted to go more basic/ not as fast/ high tech guns you could look at getting an INVERT MINI, they are trustworthy and good quality, very light , fast and small.
A hopper that i have to go with it is a Velocity jr. about £60-£70, up to 25 bps(balls per second) and only HPA (compressed air is compatible with most electirc markers) overall a good starter to an electirc gun.

Personaly id go with planet eclipse over a mini, ive heard some be very reliable and others have problem after problem, if your looking at 60-70 for a vlocity id go 10 quid more and get a rotor there awsome, ridiculously easy to clean, batterys last for ages and really strong you cant go wrong with a rotor, for air id start with a steel tank you can get them for about 30 quid and if you do upgrade its a good inexpensise back up to have

good look

Ah, well, i got my mini off "justpaintball.co.uk" and a free velocity jnr. hopper worth £70 all for £284.17. i don't know if that would be pushing it for you, its mega accurate and i have had no chops what so ever, used it 3 times, works great.
