Fraid its gone the other way mate the idea now seems to be that
you produce as many sprogs as possible and live off the grants

Well , I know its not the done thing now , but I remember the day when they were used as eye protection for paintball. Coupled with a seperate hard plastic face plate. Not exactly comfortable , and not exactly the safest of things to wear , but they were used by quite a few sites in years gone by......
