Solid red light on G6R after replacing battery

hi, ive just replaced the battery in my G6R with a brand new Duracel procell 9v, as soon as i turned it on it went to a solid red and then wouldnt do anything? i tried holding trigger and pressing on but it then went to a solid blue and wouldnt do anything? does anyone have any suggestions, ive cleaned it fully, has anyone else found this problem?

I'm no expert but it sounds like it might be on the menu for changing the settings, but I have no experience with a g6r though call lips and see what they say, as they are the only uk dealers of g6r's I'm aware of
