Not true. I have a Stako and how much you can fill it depends from your reg AND your bottle. I have a 5000PSI reg and STAKO is 4500PSI and I can fill it to 4500 no problem. And size is 1.1 litre that's 68ci.

No mate, Many sites and air providers have said that they will not fill stakos above the 3k mark due to circumstances that have been discussed in other threads.

Sorry for the thread jack Marc.

It's the standard reg supplieds by Stako, not sure of the make and am at work right now so cannot check.

The major tourney still allow use of these bottles as I used mine in Malaga without any issues, some sites will only fill to 3000psi although I could never understand that as 3000psi is still dangerous if thing go wrong.

I have no problem using this set-up but now have three systems which is just stupid, so the Stako is going.

Laters :)

*edit* Just checked the thread from Nicola @ Phoenix where I got it from, it has the Pro Toyz reg on it.

FYI lads.

I'm about to aquire a stako set up and had a few questions that I felt needed answering so I simply got in contact with Hpac this afternoon for conformation. Here is the reply I received.

Hello,

Yes, we do now fill stako bottles and they can be filled to their full working pressure.

We only test the bottles, however if it should be sent in with regulator on then we will check the thread but we do NOT service them.

Stako bottles do not need to be tested because they have a 5 year life only then have to be disposed of. We can, if you require, do a safety check on it for you at a cost of £22.50 plus vat, plus P&P. You will receive a certificate to say it has been checked but this will not extend its life beyond the initial 5 year period.

Hope this helps.

regards

Georgina

Hope this helps (sorry for the thread jack but I figured it may help with your sale mate)
