So, been out the country for 6 years, back now and looking to take up paintballing again. Have dusted off all the old kit and wanted to have two eblades serviced and the software updated to make sure that I don't fall foul of any of the new rules.

However, have been told by eclipse that they "no longer have parts or the ability to update these markers".

There seem to have been a lot of changes in the last few years, will these markers still be legal or do they have to have some sort of software limit for rate of fire set, not that I could fire that fast to start with but dont want to get pulled for an illegal marker.

Any advice appreciated.

The stock E1, E2 and zero B board doesn't have set ROF programming or caps for latest rules. You can restrict ROF by changing settings COFF, CON, CDEL etc.. which slows the rate the marker cycles. FWIW the standard E2 factory fast default gives a ROF of 10.42 BPS, but it won't have the correct ramp function. The fire mode would still be semi auto but capped below 10.5bps, and I doubt this would meet current rules.

Aftermarket OLED boards by Tadao have full ROF/mode programming for latest rules
