So why does Dynasty own this season?

Dynasty is undisputably tha best team around at the moment, but why, how? I know Robo's got some ideas on this that he makes mention of in tha next PGI, and I think homeboy is preparing a full feature on tha Dynasty/Strange styleclash, but what do you guys think? What do Chucky's kids got that the others don't got?

peace

Take your pick

1. More players with natural talent than any other team around
2. Commitment to playing at least 3 or 4 times a WEEK
3. Half of them live together - helps communication.
4. Every single one of them is very physically fit.
5. The weather in SoCal allows them to train all year round, every day if they wanted.
6. They have the perfect combination of youth and experience - biased towards youth. A 19 year old that's been playing 3 times a week for 3 years probably has as much experience than several of Aftershock's old school players.
7. Most of them are too young to drink, which gives them a big advantage on the field.

8. And they don't do drugs.

That's why. They've achieved the perfect conditions for developing a killer team

And...

They are aggressive and exciting but not stupid. A bunch of fearless kids who are unique in that they also have a lot of discipline, and their heads are well and truly screwed on.

Finally, I suspect they have quite a good deal when it comes to sponsorship. I doubt it costs any of them a penny to play 3 times a week. But when they're that good, why should it?

Cheers TJ

I wasn't bein' an arse in speak your brains it's just that there should be more p8nt related stuff on here that is current. Having a laugh rools, I mean we're a bunch of fools pretty much all the time but it is cool when you get into a thread that you can learn from or at least get into.

Dynasty rool because....they do.

I think commitment is a biggie, I mean most top teams can't commit to the hours needed to train on a regular basis because of work and other crap that we have to do, for some reason, no matter what sport it is the yanks seem to have an understanding bunch of dudes backing it. Most of the top teams are fully backed by a store owner or paint distributor or some other loaded enthusiastic bunch. I heard that, I think it's either Greenspan or Fraige who's dad owns All American and give 'em a ridiculous amount of paint every week to train with. They don't work, they live together, (most of 'em anyway) they're sponsored by SC Village which basically has everything they need to train on and the weather doesn't suck ass 90% of the time. What more do you need? Oh, and they seem to love the game BIG time ALL the time and have fun tearing fools up.

I think jealousy comes into it too. There aint no way any of our teams will get the backing these guys get so you begin to feel beaten before you even get to play them. Oh yeah, age too. We're pretty young really but I wish I was playing top level ball at 19 or 21, a lot of the big names are getting on a bit now and aint as sharp as these young crazies.

That's what I think anyway. Dynasty rock, but 'Lanche will bounce back.

they got some neat tricks2

Their guns always touch their bunkers on Sup'Air fields...if you have it in your head that your marker is always pressed up against a bunker ten you have to play tight by default...so simple, so smart.

I thought GZ would be ripping it up this season personally...

They have a new school style of play which few seem to have noticed, we didnt until DS had some uplifting conversations in portugal. They play the game differently, I cant explain it...kind of a combination of using the barricades differently, breaking differently, shooting differently, moving differently....masters of the' new' skills.
Team co-ordination......well that just speaks for itself. You can have individually skilled players but when it comes down to winning pro games, you have got to have co-ordination and the Jt Dynasty have pretty much mastered it, thats obvious just by watching them.

Individual skill, team skill.

p.s-Dynasty are all really cool and always willing to give advice, so I hope that everybody here has the same respect for them as I do.

Gotta agree with the Big man

All those factors play a role. Another factor that plays a huge role is attitude. They are used to being successful. Have been at every level and when you walk on the field expecting to rule--your chances are that much greater.
Looking forward to a head-to-head in Chitown Dynasty vs. Strange.

True

Sometimes you just know when you walk out there that every member of your team has their **** together and you will destroy all comers. The only problem with that is you should always be ready for the one time the other team is in a similar frame of mind and be ready to work overtime. The ting with these guys is that work overtime anyway so over-overtime is gonna hurt some fools.

My prediction: Keep an eye on Avalanche and Aftershock for comin out hard at the end of the season. A baddass Avalanche would be sweet to see.

SC/Dye Ironmen aint in it, new players on the cards??

Getting tougher at the top

and the quality of play is getting deeper. Loads of young players out there who are learning and using the lessons the old skool earned the hard way and they're doing at a younger and younger age. The talent gap is shrinking and the talent pool is growing and as a consequence the team game and the mental game is going to make a larger difference. (Old skool more of the talent was at the top and coupled with experience it routinely crushed the comers. Not so much or so often any more.)

About GZ--wonder if having a real winter hurts them. Keeping the competitive edge is a use it or lose it kind of balancing act.

Al--Maybe it's a matter of semantics but what I mean by attitude isn't a sometime thing or at the mercy of emotion. At the upper levels of any competitive activity where the talent pool is universally deep and rich it's "attitude", that combination of belief, determination and will that wins out.
